I am a 5th-year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh, advised by Dr. Longfei Shangguan and working closely with Dr. Tao Chen. I received my M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Boston University and a B.S. in ECE from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
My research sits at the intersection of mobile computing, acoustic sensing, and wearable systems. I build sensing and computation technologies on commercial earphones, mobile devices, and custom hardware to improve human health, interaction, and safety. Recent work includes earable interfaces, in-air acoustic gesture sensing, and on-body health monitoring.
